124487-004 oil-gas separator core is a high-efficiency coalescing filter element specially designed for industrial heavy-duty screw air compressors. As a core component in the post-treatment and power system of air compressors, it adopts advanced multi-layer composite fiberglass technology to trap and agglomerate suspended oil mist in compressed air. While delivering compressed air with ultra-high cleanliness at the outlet, it enables efficient recovery of lubricating oil, which directly improves the stability and economic benefits of the plant air supply system.
Core Product Advantages
• Low Energy Consumption Design: Features an extremely low initial pressure drop (≤0.02 MPa). While maintaining high-efficiency separation, it greatly reduces air resistance and power loss of the air compressor main unit, cutting the enterprise's electricity cost.
• Bidirectional Pressure Resistance and Collapse Prevention: The filter cartridge frame adopts high-strength heavy-duty galvanized perforated steel mesh. Its structure remains stable without deformation or rupture under complex frequent loading/unloading conditions and instantaneous high pressure differential environments.
• Safe Anti-static Technology: Built-in highly conductive anti-static grounding metal strips. Inside the oil-gas barrel where static electricity is easily generated by friction of high-speed airflow, this design can effectively conduct static electricity away and eliminate the risk of combustion and explosion caused by sparks at the source.
• Long Service Life: Adopts glass fiber material with high dirt holding capacity. Under standard industrial working conditions and proper maintenance, its service life can steadily reach 3,500 to 6,000 hours, significantly extending the equipment maintenance interval.

124487-004 is equipped with dedicated metal anti-static gaskets or conductive pins. Do not remove them or insert non-conductive insulating rubber mats during installation. ◦ Good metal-to-metal grounding must be ensured between the filter element, flange and oil-gas barrel body; otherwise, internal static sparks can easily cause an explosion of the oil-gas barrel.
Maintenance & Replacement
◦ When the central control panel shows that the pressure drop (pressure difference between inlet and outlet) of the oil separator core reaches 0.8 - 1.0 bar (or 12-15 psi), it indicates that the filter element is severely clogged. ◦ The unit must be shut down immediately for replacement at this time. Otherwise, the power consumption of the air compressor will rise sharply, and even the main motor will trip due to overload protection.
