QX104715 is a premium aftermarket oil-gas separation element (commonly known as an oil separator core) specially designed for Gardner Denver and CompAir industrial screw air compressors. Adopting advanced coalescing filtration technology, this product is dedicated to efficiently separating lubricating oil from compressed air, ensuring the quality of end-use air supply and significantly reducing the oil consumption of equipment.
Core Selling Points and Performance Advantages
• Imported Ultra-fine Glass Fiber Filter Media: The inner core layer adopts ultra-fine glass fiber composite filter media from HV (Hollingsworth & Vose) or Lydall brand of the United States. This structure enables efficient collision and coalescence of "large droplets captured by tiny pores", with a separation efficiency up to 99.99%.
• Excellent Low Pressure Drop (Ultra-low Energy Consumption): The initial pressure difference is maintained at ≤ 0.02 MPa. The low pressure drop feature effectively reduces the exhaust resistance of the air compressor main unit, directly cutting the long-term power consumption of the factory.
• Long-lasting and High-service-life Design: Under rated working conditions with high-quality air filters and lubricating oil, the rated service life reaches 3500 ~ 5200 hours, which effectively extends the equipment maintenance interval.
• Reliable Explosion-proof and Grounding Protection: Static conductive sheets/metal pins are integrated on the flange gasket. When static electricity is generated by friction of high-speed oil and gas flow, it can safely conduct static electricity to the tank ground connection, strictly preventing the risk of internal combustion and explosion of the oil-gas separator tank caused by static sparks.
• Pressure-resistant Reinforced Metal Housing: The frame and flange plate are made of perforated steel plate treated with high-strength anti-corrosion treatment, featuring strong resistance to pulsating pressure. It will not collapse or deform under the impact of high flow rate and differential pressure.
Notes d'installation
Static Conductive Pin (Extremely Important): QX104715 is a flanged oil separator core. During installation, the metal conductive piece (pin) on the flange sealing gasket must never be removed, nor should excessive sealant be applied to block electrical conduction. It is mandatory to achieve solid "metal-to-metal" contact among the filter element metal flange, the gasket conductive pin and the oil-gas barrel body. Otherwise, static electricity cannot be discharged, which may easily cause an explosion inside the oil-gas barrel.
Maintenance & Replacement
Pressure difference monitoring (the most scientific replacement indicator): When the control panel shows that the inlet-outlet pressure difference of the oil separator core reaches 0.08 ~ 0.12 MPa (0.8~1.2 bar), replacement must be arranged immediately. If the pressure difference exceeds 0.12 MPa, the energy consumption of the air compressor will increase sharply, and there is even a risk of the filter element collapsing, resulting in the main unit seizing up or severe contamination of the downstream equipment.
